At long last
I have gotten around to writing a blog. I have been BUSY. Busy doing stuff and also busy hurling in every receptacle within reach. This is due to the fact I am pregnant, something I wasn't going to blog endlessly about but as it managed to get in the newspaper already I thought I would mention it.
This is tigger. No i dont know its sex. Yes I will find out. And I am 15 weeks. Thats all I am going to say about it for now except nausea is not fun and my boobs are beginning to scare me.

In quick summary of the last month:
At the end of January amongst all the political dramallama Daníel, Daníela and Momo and I went to Grundarfjörður to do some location hunting for the Weird Girls.

I mentioned that I had a Red Carpet dinner party with all the ladies at my place. I cooked 9 dishes for 12 of us. We then went to the kareoke bar downtown afterwards. (PHOTOS by Mæja)

Early February was spent mostly in the snow until it was time to pop back to the UK.

I spent 3 days in London seeing Clare, Jess and Paul and then going on a Thames boat ride with Nick and Dana.

I then headed down to Kent to see my sister Hannah and her newborn Ava who is the hairiest cutest little button.

My journey then took me down to Devon to see the folks and Daníel flew over to spend time there too. It was great, we antique shopped and explored countryside.

Since being back I have been socialising in ways other than drinking and mostly pre midnight as my brain turns off around then. I held a bacon sandwich and pancake party a few weeks ago for hungover and the sober and about 18 people came and went and stuff themselves. It was lovely and another is happening tomorrow.

I got a call from designer Mundi one afternoon asking if i could summon a few girls to come to the ski area Bláfjöll the next day and shoot a last minute scifi video for his winter range 2009. Eva, Fiona, Lilja and Erla answered the call and the next day we spent running around in ridiculous yet awesome clothes and bouncing around on strawberry shaped sleds and snow mobiles!

After I had de snowed Matt Irwin popped over to Iceland with James and took me out to Við Tjornina where we all laughed so hard for so long I thought I might injure myself.

Last but not least It was the last Episode for the Weird Girls Project a week ago at the Northern Wave Film Festival. It was a tough one, we got ourselves to glacierville with a gift of weather from the gods and somehow, somehow, managed to pull of another episode outdoors in Iceland. Insanity. It was incredibly hard for me, the one thing which has been most affected by being up the duff. I am planning another now for when I am 7 months gone. But it will be local and I learnt where my current weaknesses lie. Regardless I think it was a success and the gallery will be up soon.

Sideways news is that it is only 4 days to go until APOCRYPHA - the latest expansion of EVE online. It is already causing ripples around the world and people in work have been working their nuts off for this and the excitement of its release is showing.
